Recent work on a 39 ACN N-Nanbrol® masterbatch 80, let down to 60 phr nanofill, illustrates the range of results available with little change in compounding.

Nanbrol® is different, but responds similarly to other filled NBR’s.

Three cases are reported here. Case 1 is low cure state, and the cure state is increased through case 3.

While the 25% modulus is higher, the 50% modulus is more than double the low cure state case.  Tensile values were about the same, but as you can see, the elongation ranged from under 150% to almost 400%.

Nanbrol® masterbatch responds like most white-fill masterbatch, but with improvements in physical properties and much better barrier, heat resistance, and processability.
